Ammo Belt Tutorial : Ammo Belts V2 (with RafalFett templates)

Great job!

Just a side note for those who don't have all the info: the Pre-Pro #3 soft parts were used on the ESB Hero suit too (except the cape and the spats), so the ammo belt is the same on both suits. The Supertrooper ammo belt was converted (painted) to the Pre-Pro #1 suit, then added to the ROTJ Hero suit (it's the one from the MoM, Dag and SWtE exhibits).

Thanks RafalFett !

This is the last one :

It is possible, but not all the details matches between the 2 belts:

ROTJ PP1 & PP2 Belts.jpg

The Pre-Pro #2 seems to have white velcro sewn in at least 2 places, while the Pre-Pro #1/ROTJ doesn't have that feature.

And comparing the Pre-Pro #1 and the Pre-Pro #2 ammo belts, to me it it looks like different materials (the color look different because of the hue of the image); the Pre-Pro #1 looks like leather, while the Pre-Pro #2 looks like vinyl:

And here is a preliminary drawing I did a while ago regarding the visible end of the Pre-Pro #2 ammo belt:

Hi,
just some words to say that i had to stop working on the belt some weeks ago to concentrate my time on my helmet. Just to be sure that it will be almost done for :

A signature inside my helmet and a meeting with Mr Jeremy Bulloch.
now back to the belt !

Congratulations for meeting Jeremy Bulloch and for signing your helmet! Can't wait to see some fresh images of the paint job!

All the files are there, but the formatting of the first post is gone, this is why the different ammo belts are not grouped. Also he mention in the 1st post that he added some files in the following posts: #49 - Pre-Pro #1 (quick jump here ==> http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/tutorial-ammo-belts-v2-rafalfett-templates-47515/#post626029), #53 - Supertrooper (quick jump here ==> http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/tutorial-ammo-belts-v2-rafalfett-templates-47515/#post626069), #59 - Pre-Pro #3 (quick jump here ==> http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/tutorial-ammo-belts-v2-rafalfett-templates-47515/#post626714) and #62 - Unfinished Pre-Pro #2 (quick jump here ==> http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/tutorial-ammo-belts-v2-rafalfett-templates-47515/#post626808). Note: if for some reason you can't decompress the files, just change the extension to RAR.

Thanks RafalFett...very useful!

I thought that this is a newer version of the tutorial. But i see that they complement each other very well. With this stuff it is even more accurate.

Big thanks to you guys for this tutorial! Thanks to this I've begun crafting more movie accurate ammo pouches, I think they aren't coming out too bad so far.
