Little more progress this weekend. Added the yellow damage to the upper armor pieces.
Finally finished a few pieces. Damage added and parts clear coated .
Looking good! That silver makes the yellow pop!
Thanks for the kinds words!
Finished adding damage to the back piece, collar, and right chest plate. Painted the studs (leaving the collar studs white with one red on top, and the cod piece connectors silver) and then clear coated all the parts. Just in time for my flight suit to arrive in the mail tomorrow!
Needed a break from painting so started assembling what I've completed so far.
Started with assembling locking pins in nylon and gluing to the armor pieces with E6000
Then assembled all the chest pieces to the flack vest.
Similar approach for the Boba thong only I used a T-Nut and Screw combination to assemble a cheap nylon/velcro belt to the kidney plate.
Lastly I did a test fit of everything with the flight suit. I had used magnet for the back plate and quickly learned I needed to upgrade to a more powerful magnet to get them to attach properly. Replaced those magnets and am waiting for them to fully dry before doing another test fit. I'm thinking everything seems to be set up OK. Thoughts?
From this picture I am also quickly realizing I must have a super short neck. Lots of work to still do on the flight suit itself. Weathering, fill the pockets, etc. I also need to order a chest display. Any recommended vendors out there?

I highly recommend Fettronics for the chest display. I have one and it is awesome.
Back to painting. Hand painted the redish/brown damaged on the knees and shoulder as this was way too detailed to mask and airbrush. Hopefully will get to airbrushing the silver on yet this week.
Are you using Rafs stencils? As I know the brown looks more faded, yours is exactly like the stencils but those are more for showing the areas where the brown might be faded on to. I hope I am not talking wrong stuff, you should check it.
Look here (did found a better pic right know):
Boba Fett Empire Strikes Back Costume
I am using Raf's stencils
I'll work to fade out the brown and post updated pictures. It is way too crisp at this point vs the reference pictures.
Thanks for the feedback before I clear coat! I obviously need to spend some more time with the reference pictures.
All right. Second attempt at the knees and shoulders. I took the originals back to a primer coat and redid them this weekend. I'm thinking they are looking better than the first attempt. Thoughts? Still have a bit of cleanup to do and apply the clear coat.
Sorry but this is far from the screen used look. You should look at other builds like this one:
