Stuck on my first build

Can any one tell me how to put this inner surface on?? I feel really dumb but I can't make it fit my base template(the part with the flat cheeks on the bottom of my frame) and idk if I'm supposed to or not... Wierd roadblock, but it doesn't seem like any one else is having this problem..View attachment 85382

Is this right so far? Someone please help.. I'm having trouble finding clear documentation of this

Sorry, we're not ignoring you. Its just that there are very few of us who have gone the Pepakura or template route for a helmet. Its pretty challenging to get the symmetry and curves right. Terminal Fettler has scratch made some helmets in the past (to movie quality, I might add), he may be able to give you a hand.
