Servo attachment

I'm looking for some ideas on the best way to attach the RF servo to the helmet. I want to be able to remove it whenever needed. I saw on the Zip Zap thread he used nylon motherboard standoffs. I was just hoping maybe there were some other ideas out there.

If you want to remove the servo at will you could attach the servos mounts to the servo first, get it all in position inside the helmet and glue the mounts down. once the mounts are in place and solid you can remove the servo from the now stuck down mounts after.

try and get your self a 9 gram hi torque micro servo it will save a load of space and is strong enough for the job.

I personaly didnt use the mounts I got a micro servo and counter sunk it into the side of the helmet and glued it in for good, this way it will stop any flexing

hope that helps
