PP3 & MR Rangefinder Image?

Hi All,

Apologies if this has been covered, but I'm curious what the photo image is from that is used in the lens of the PP3 range finder? The photo is of a group
of people that appear to be in a battle in the desert and the image is in the PP3 galleries here.

Someone on RPF suggested Lawrence of Arabia, but wasn't 100%....

Not sure I have the time to spare to watch LoA. It's reaaalllllllllllllllllllllly long. Another possiblility is that this could be the end of 'Chinese Gordon' in 'Khartoum'? Another long film it would take a long time to watch.
