my only down side with that, is the toe is too round, I know I wore those my whole time in the army, and it tapers in instead of being nice and square, and that sole isnt a standard sole, its an aftermarket sole available on some boots, otherwise you have to get it put on custom. I just don't see that boot being valid either. Trying to find a good base is tough. honestly a good pair of squared toed doc martins isnt a bad way to go. take a rotary tool, with a sanding drum, sand off all the ribs on the sole, then mark out where you want your recesses cut, dremel those in, then paint. thats what I did, and it came out pretty good. I'll post pics later.
