Welcome everyone to my WIP. Feedback is greatly appreciated. My goal is to get this as close to movie accurate as possible. All feedback is welcome.

These are some pictures taken several months ago during a troop at Disneyland!

Since then,
Major changes I’ve done are

1. Dye the flight suit
2. Repaint the helmet
3. Adjust and add Velcro on the armor
4. Additional Weathering

I have a few since then I will update as well.

I also have a 3D printed helmet (old pictures) That I am still cleaning up.

Funny enough, in college my roommate had a 3D printer. (He was also a Star Wars fan) He decided to make a Mando helmet and asked me if I wanted to make one.

Fast forward a few years, what started out as just a helmet turned to a full kit. Lol.

I am in the process of completely striping and repainting. I couldn’t find a single accurate dented helmet. So I decided to make my own by heating up the pla then slowly molding it. I used a glass cup to help get an aggressive curve.

Another part of my kit that required some work was my Jetpack harness. Or what is Officially A $20 posture harness off Amazon. I’ve had the worst luck on things failing. So I riveted the connections. This is the most secure attachment I’ve found.

My next hurtle came with gauntlets I ordered from DC Props that were severely inaccurate.

Recently just discovered my Arkady flight suit had a buckle for the gauntlet tubes. So I burned a hole in the tubes and attached it with a Key ring.
