I've been laid off for 2 months now, and my son is due in november, I have had 2 interviews for a job I really want but most importantly need . I have been assured that I am the next on the hire list. Please those of you that are of christian faith, help me pray that it won't be too much longer before I get the call. Times like these are when we could all use some help, hard to be positive and keep from getting depressed . Thank you all in advance , Chris

thanks! the best of all, is that the job I am doing , I've wanted to do since I was a small child....who really ends up doing as an adult what they wanted as a child? thank you all for the thoughts and prayers

This is awesome! Congrats on the job and the upcoming child! I was down to the last two and last three on my last couple of interviews, both of which were jobs I was hoping for. I know that feeling too well. Those didn't work out but I am working nevertheless.

Perhaps it will turn out that getting laid off at that time will be the greatest thing that could have happened. :cheers
