TantivIV, you can use JB weld to put your hinges on. You can also use some rivits then bondo or JB weld over them and smooth down to cover.

Cameron, I have to say that when I sent you that kit...I had a doubt or two. I didn't have time before AdCon to mess with it, instead of having it sit around I figured I would give it to someone who could make use of it. Man you've blown me away with how well you have made these things. If I could pat you on the back...I would.

how do some of you get the hinges on there?

You can glue them on, or screw them on.
I screwed them in, then put glue over them so it wouldn't come loose.

Use GOOP for the glue. We used it on Clay's gauntlets, and they aren't going anywhere.

also, how do you connect it on the opposite side? velcro?

Piano hinges are what alot of people use. You can get those at Lowes or Home Depot.
