Mismatched ROTJ ankle spats

I've been slowly building up my Boba Fett ROTJ and when I decided to sit down and make some ankle spats using Count Dookie's templates, I noticed that in looking at the AOSW pics, there seems to be mismatched ankle spats. Now its VERY hard to tell if these are in fact what were used in the film as you can't see the back of the spats, but I'd really like to know how exactly the left ankle spat is fixed to itself. But in this AOSW photo, there seems to be the matching ankle spat on the left ankle:

Could anyone shed some light on this?

I do not have any good ref pics in this instance, but I do know that in many of the costume displays, the person dressing the mannies did so incorrectly. There were pouches on the wrong side. Vests put on backwards, etc....

That could be the reason for the different looking ref pics.

Looks like the left ankle spat isnt put on correctly as its raised higer on 1 side than the other ..but this could be a rush to get the suit on the mannequin for the show??
