Just beginning first ROTJ Fett set

hey guys, im just starting work on getting stuff together for my first good set of ROTJ armor. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what i should make it out of thats a really cheap but strong material. ( 16 year old budget =[ ) I made a quick set out of the trashcan idea thats on here, but the paint didnt hold well to it. Lemme know what you think. Itll be greatly appreciated.

If you're on a budget and you're after something lightwieght and cheap, then you can't go far wrong using sintra. As for it holding paint. A light sanding to key it up and a coat of plastic primer and said paint will stick to it like s**t to the proverbial blanket.
No doubt others on here with a lot more experience than me will chime in too and will probably have some different ideas.

Use QT big gulp cups as a basis to wrap your sintra around after you heat it for gauntlets. styrene glue is great for gluing parts together. good luck!

How much does Sintra go for and where would i find it? I dont think they carry it at lowes or home depot.
