Helmet in progress

I'm making good progress on my Mandalorian Helmet sculpt. The main helmet is built, just doing a little more clean up before photographing. The ears are drawn and currently printing. Keyslots are finished. The final stage will to add the crest over the dome, I still need to draw this and get it printed. This project will be finished before the series is aired.

A huge thanks to Tfett40 for publishing the recent reference photos. It was because of these photos that I was able to improve the detail on the ears and keyslots.

What material are the ears made out of?

The ears are now printed in plastic, next they will be cleaned and moulded. The finished ears will be cast in PU resin.

Got the crest over the dome finished. This leaves the right ear assembly and curving of the right cheek to do. Then some general clean-up and ready to mould. These are just quick pictures with my phone, the detailed and correctly lit pictures will be done when it's all complete.
