Full boba fett build over time with a noob.

Hi everybody im new here and I've recently begun a build on boba fett and I started this thread to get some advise and to share.

here's some pictures over my process so far (about 4-5 months or so) not going fast.













As you can se the rangefinderholderthingy is not accurate so I hade to redo that one and since I want to build everything my self I decided to sculpt them in plastic padding



Starting to shape up but the cheek area is off and I'm working on that

So a little bit more on the progress so far:



Pepped gauntlets now I know these are not exact but these are the only files I could get so far. When I get new ones I will make new ones but I figured I could use the practice so these will do.



Don't mind the busted up iron man in the back












Started softening up the curves on the cheeks



This is going to be the back vents



Ears soon done I think

Woah I've done lots of work but nouthing to take pics of yet my elbows really got a workout I've been sanding like crazy and the shoulders are ready for painting and soon the sloppy arms as well. My helmet/"bucket". I'm working on it, I want it to be as good as I can manage but the more I work the more I learn so it seams to be a never ending story ( I should change my name to Bastian) I'm really enjoying myself but **** you guys are crazy to do this stuff.. Hopefully I will get some pics up tomorrow since my ****** English isn't much entertainment. To be continued

Hi Guys! Thanks for the very kind words! So I've been working my *** off at work and have not been able to build much but here is a small update! :

So I got a hold of some super sculpey that I'm going to do some stuff with it was mainly bought to work on the helmet with but since I'm not going to spend hours and hours on my not so accurate gauntlets I made some trinkets for them in clay.



After this much time I wanted to se them primed



This is basically what I'm doing with the clay!



This made me really nervous but it didn't to much damage to the bucket.

Shoulders?



I know they don't have the smoothest surface but they will do for now

soon ive been pretty busy with other stuff but ive made the pepping for the knee parts and the armrocket

So again thanks for the very kind words! Here is a little update: back "vents" little more detail.

Rebuilding the mechanism for the rangefinder arm
Redid the cheek section. Not happy whit that still.
Made some knees there pepped and hardend also din the arm rocket if you zoom u can se it.
