Got in my original Technisub Pulce today (thanks to a board member here at TDh who I will allow to annouce himself if he wishes to be known) and did a comparison to my Mojo-Fett replica just to see how our good friend did.
Rejoice!
For those frustrated by the rarity of the original Pulce spearguns, you can breathe a sigh of relief, because Gav's replica is as close as you will EVER get without owning an original. I can even interchange parts between the two! I will have photos up in the next week (stupid lighting is in Vegas, not here) comparing the two, but Gav really outdid himself on this replica!

Anyway, great looking piece, can't wait to get it built. :love So with that said, how is everyone opening the diameter at the back end of the resin handle in order to screw in the aluminum retainer section? Drill, X-acto, File?

Not being a expert at this i used a buck knife and a dremel with a round sanding head. Took a little time but it came out real good.
Also had to sand down the base to get the threads to catch.

Hey, I noticed that that there are a handful of people from the ORGINAL commitment list who STILL have not even bothered to respond to Mojo or Volker. People who actively post... ***? There are plenty of people who would take your place. I find it extremely disrespectful to have blown Mojo off like that! I know there are extenuating circumstances, but how long does it take to drop a PM? Come on folks, put up or drop out! :angry

Here is mine as it is for now. The pics suck cause it was from a cell phone. I used Georgia Clay color spray paint. It looks like a nice red/brown to the eye. But the pics make it look a tad darker then it is.
