Custom Mandalorian Armor and costume pics.

It's me again. :p Just wanted to share some more pics of my armor.
Knees, cod and torso armor are JD fiberglass.
The knees are from JD's new molds.

:love sweeeeet....i love the mando logo on the right breast plate What do the shoulder the shoulder bells look like? Its gonna look so sweet!

DA

yes..I do too love the logo on the chest armor. Very nice........is that idea patented? That gives me a great idea when i do my custom gonzo mandalorian. The gonzo logo would be awsome there!
Can't wait to see more photos. Mesir like!

Thanks to all for the compliments. :)
The battle damage was made using the liquid mask over silver ,then the skull was traced on the armor over a base coat of Testors Titanium metalizer. I then painted on liquid mask over the drawing. . It turned out pretty good i think. Kinda like it was burned into the armor plate.

No. it's not patented. I traced the design from a vinyl decal i applied to my first set of trash can armor.

Full costume pics to follow later.. ;) I'm ready for Halloween.

More pics of the completed costume. Version 1.0

Enjoy. :)

Target sighted.

Yes. It's a Modified Grievous blaster and a Rubies Jango bucket. All i could come up with for right now.

I have to thank JD for allowing me to come down and learn how to make fiberglass armor. Without him, i would still be in trash can armor.
You Rock JD. Thank you.
I want to thank all the people on the board that have helped me out and for posting all the tips and tutorials on TDH. You people are great. :)
Most of all i thank my wife :love for her patience and understanding (putting up with me  ) while making this costume in less than 4 months.
She's she best. :)

your armor really looks kick :moon !!

may I ask what sort of gloves you are using? They look really skin tight. Looks really good actually.

Thanks for the compliment. :)
Honestly. I can't remember the brand name. I got the gloves from work.
It's a rubber/latex type coated palm with a fabric spandex? type material. I took some acetone on a rag and removed the logo that was on the back.

I am also considering doing a custom Mando. I am kinda afraid to take on Boba because I know how some people can get about accuracy. I will probably do an accurate Darth Vader and Stormtrooper in the future. Anyway, an idea I had for the gun was to modify the new G.I.Joe Sigma 6 gun. It is pretty cool and with the right amount of TLC I think it would be a cool Mando custom. I may get one this week and try some things. I will have to post some picks.

Some new pics for ya. Version 1.5. Yes.. I still have the Rubies bucket.
A new JD helmet is in the works as well as some custom blasters.;)

I have not weathered the jumpsuit yet.

I believe Jun uses snaps if I remember correctly from AdCon. It's one of the three common ways to attach armor (Velcro and Nuts/Bolts being the other 2). Although it can be a pain getting everything lined up right, I use snaps and will probably continue to do so as they are just super strong.
