Just a quick question, when you guys customize your helmets what helmets do you use? Do you customize your helmets from the DP helmets the most or do you guys gets ur helmets modofied and fiberglassed already?

A lot of people use the Movie sized helmet or the Mystery helmet and just do their paint job from there, personally I just started on my Boba Fett and I'm using mold from a DP Deluxe as a starting point which I plan on painting ROTJ style.

CAN ANYONE SHOW ME WHAT A DP 96' LOOKS LIKE COMPLETED, IF ITS NOT TO MUCH TROUBLE. IM JUST DEBATING WHETER I SHOULD CUZTOMIZE MY 96' OR JUST BUY SOME EXPENSIVE COMPLETED HELMET OFF OF EBAY...THX IN ADVANCE

SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK WOULD BE BETTER, CUSTOMIZE A DP 96, OR JUST BUY AN EXPENSIVE ONE OFF OF EBAY?

haha i dunno, well yea im gonna pick up a visor off of ebay right now it says its the best jango/boba fett visor, it looks pretty good, the sellers name is rembrandt-enterprises anyone know if this is a good visor?

The DP helmets are the most commonly used in this forum since the beginning, and is the cheapest way to start your costume. The '95 DP helmet is the most recommended of the series, for it's shape and quality (not the most accurate of helmets, but it is from all the DP/Rubies).

The MSH and other helmets were created afterwards by members of this board and are quite expensive, depends on your money-value point of view. These are in the range of $100 in kit form to $300+ completed and painted. All you have to do is to scour the site yorself and you'll see the answers you're looking for...just be patient.

I have the rembrandt visor in Fett Girls helmet now. If fits perfectly in the DP, which is what she has.

Alot of us have the Omark Welder's Shield that can be purchased for 8 bucks US. It seems like shade 3 level is the most popular and best. They can be cut with scissors.

For custom jobs I try to use DP 95', but for most of my Custom Mandalore buckets I use 96/97'.

If I'm serious about a Custom Helmet & want to go the extra mile, I'll use a FG, Deluxe DP 95' etc.. For my Jaster I used a FG Deluxe DP 95' For my upcoming project I'm starting out with a DP 96' & down the road I'll upgrade to another FG bucket -

i have a shade 5 i think in my helmet...whatever it is its dark...LOL but it works great no chance of seeing inside, the only thing is i must get re-acoustomed with the colors of the real word after lookign through green all week! lol

i've used an '02 jango fett, and done my custom paint job on it. Most of you haev seen it.
