i just got 3 more ikea detolf cases (giving me 7 total now!). instead of the non lighting that i used in the older ones, i got the dioder LED sets:

these things are AWESOME! 1/4" thick disk with 10 super bright white LEDs. 4 of those disks to a pack.

i put one of the disks under the fett unleashed, facing up. so now when i turn the cabinets on, boba lights up

yikes! what sort of lights did you use?

these get warm, but i didn't think they got hot enough for that.

YOu could also mount the lights to a small scrap of aluminum to distribute the heat. Thats what we do to some of our products. It also keeps the LEDs bright, as per degree C emitted by the LED you lose 1 lumen of brightness

Very cool!
I'd check the temperature on this if you're leaving the lights on for a while.
LEDs burn cool, but 10 of them like that in a very confined space made of plastic might "turn up the heat" a bit.
