Ok, good news finally.
I spoke with the boot maker today. They have recieved the material and started on all 23 pair. He said he would try to have them finished within a month.

No, no news. Right now, I have my daughter for the next week. I only get to see her for a few weeks each summer. She leaves this Friday. I'll deal with the boots after she leaves.
