Thanks for asking! Good to see that you are "back".
I have learned a LOT since then. And what I learned seems to leant towards akquiring / building nice display pieces.
In terms of costuming, I will read the Republic Commando Books again and while doing so note down every snippet of information on Kal Skiratas armor that I can find directly or deduce from what is described he does with or in armor. (i.e. sits down in armor in a tight ship --> no backpack or jetpack). Thats the status quo

OK~ I'm beginning my build and I already see some challenges.

I need some ear cap covers because I got metal earcap inserts and the metal stalk.

Also I have a hollow V3 copper rocket from MachineCraft but it doesn't fit on a Cruzer Jango Gauntlet.

And I think I got these knee dart launchers from BKBT which are smaller than my original ones and don't have screw holes. Here are the large ones that he made compared to the small darts of my larger set.

Are the knee darts so small that they look weird? Or just that they're slightly smaller? I can't really tell in your knee dart photo.

In what way does the MCR wrist rocket/laser not fit? If you mean just the screw holes, that’s an easy fix.

I am terrible at documenting my progress, but here goes...[PIC HEAVY!]

I got all the parts I needed and then some for a 2nd Jango Fett...one to troop in and another to display next to my ESB Boba Fett. I bought Cruzer's VERY LAST set of JF CC armor hard parts + gauntlets + big head helmet (I don't have a big head though so I also ordered a MinuteFett DENTED helmet too)

Then I ordered a BobaMaker Flak vest and flight suit.

I then ordered a set of leather goods from Cruzer.

I also got a girth belt (or two) from Cruzer.

I got some Merona XL women's gloves from PoshMark. And of I cut the buckles off, of course.

Ryan Krueger sold me his Westar34 replicas (all metal). and I bought a pair of DEC lighted Westar 34 kits. So that's two DIFFERENT pairs of metal Westars.

I got a pair of Crow boots with a discount. and I bought some Bed STUs on this forum as well.

He makes great props, I've got a full set from him also, just too many irons in the fire to put it together for now...

Yeh! I got his VERY LAST set of hard parts (including the helmet). He even signed the Cod piece, lol of all places to sign! I'm making some good progress.

I also got my hands on a MinuteFett Dented Jango Fett helmet. I added a pic of the Cruzer helmet for comparison.

Got my hands on WhiteShadow's foam helmet insert V2:

I polished the Cold Cast armor with #0000 steel wool (dry) to make a a brushed aluminum look, the I wet polished the armor with a car headlamp polishing sponge attached to my power drill. finally, I hand polished it with MAAS metal polish and rubbed it off with a paper towel that polished it to look like stainless steel.

I then assembled the knee armor following Cruzer's tutorial here on TDH. I should have taken more pics. I added some neodymium magnets to the inside bottom of the knees so that I could drop in some magnets to the backside of my flight suit as I dress up (thanks to BomaGizzle for that tip)!
