General Arkady ROTJ Hero Flightsuit color help!

For me, One packet of Dye Remover didn't really do much on my 2024 ROTJ Arkady Flightsuit.

Perhaps 2 or three packets could work.

The sad boba fail i ran into during this learning curve has been the following:

Before i thought to dye the suit lighter, I was impatient and wanted to use watered down Acrylic Paints to weather the legs, arms and lower chest... unfortunately it's winter (snow!!) and im in canada ...

Needless to say I took it outside and started attempting to mist it.... the bottle decided it didn't want to mist.... it sprayed Drops.... right all over the chest.

Probably because of the extreme weather and not getting it to the washer in time, the spots stained the flightsuit... (some have been lightened by stain remover but they are still there...)but taking dye away is the challenge ahaha

I have only used it to completely re-dye a flightsuit - so I used the entire packet with the washing machine method. It brought the base color to a light off-white/beige and the material accepted dye very well after that.

For just lightening the color, I would probably just use hot water in a large tub/bucket and add a little bit at a time, dunk the suit for a period of time and let the suit dry and evaluate. Then add more or do more time based on those results. You don't need boiling water if you are just lightening the color, as you don't want "maximum effectiveness" of the dye remover. Your flightsuit isn't that far off, so I would just start with a little bit.
Was yours a newer Arkady ROTJ flightsuit?
