I am looking for a hard case to carry my helmet in. Currently I am using a toke bag and warp the helmet in thin foam to protect it. Not very cool looking.
I carry mine either in the large case with everything else or literally carry it in my hand. I try to take extra car of it over most of the other parts.
I'd be interested to hear people chime in with hard case options. I was just going to pick up a helmet bag from Trooper Bay, but it's just a soft case and I wouldn't mind more protection. However, it will still be an upgrade on the cardboard box I've been using
I have a hard pelican case for all of my other armour pieces, no room for the helmet though. I feel inspired now from adam's carry case-I think I will try my own.
There is a guy in my garrison that makes fantastic helmet bags. He can make just bags for just about anything. He does custom embroidery with TK IDs and other stuff. My bag has boba fett stuff all over it. He has a saws thread on the 501st legion site. I will see if I have a pic of my bag.

The original container I grabbed off eBay and was for a set of night vision goggles. Foam was inside but deteriorated. I cut a hole in the side and mounted the etched plexiglass with LEDs. I've considered another one for an old flight helmet due to the size. Very sturdy and a great inexpensive display piece.

Could be too narrow - depends on the helmet. In my search for something to use I found a number of options. I'm on the lookout for a large case for the ghostbusters proton pack. I found a number of old cases in metal or rigid plastic that were bigger. I love how he built the wooden case for his taxidermy animal - post pics please!
Have not bought one myself yet, but I've been looking at helmet bags online and they seem like they might fit the bill. Maybe I'll take my bucket into a cycle shop for a test fitting and report back.
