Yet another Boba Rearmored Build (and throne too!)

Forgot to update here. Finally got my helmet in. Have a bunch of progress photos but I’ll just post my latest ones, happy with the texture decisions. Still need to track down the right color for upper cheeks and ear cap.

Also, a small progress update on my throne. Making a big trip to the hardware store to hopefully get everything I need to finish the build. Also tracked down an STL for the rancor gargoyle heads and my buddy is printing them for me!

Made some further strides in getting everything completed and a step back. Unfortunately snapped the visor for my helmet the second I got it in the mail so that sucked but otherwise done with the helmet. Also got further along on the throne, round parts mounted and back frame built out. Next is to cut and attach the arch which has me sweating. Also, sorry about the garage mess, also renovating the basement in the midst of all this.

Lol, so that’s the fun part…. I’m not. With working at home indefinitely from here on out we downsized to one car so the other bay is turning into a work shop area. This thing is on 1000 lbs limit casters and glides easily. So, it’s basically going to just be my garage chair and if we do driveway fire pits I’ll wheel it out and that’ll be my chair… My other option is to sell it after, but not sure I’ll be able to.

Realized it’s been a minute since I updated. Got a lot more done on the throne. Lettering all cut out, but still needs a lot of clean up, paint and to be mounted. Still doing a lot of texturing and sealing. Also starting to mess around with paints trying to find the right color. At this point just need to paint, finish the front plates and get my rancor heads printed, put on the side columns and add the cushion and I’m done!

Oh and I finally got my boot covers from GreyLeones! Well worth the wait.
