Superjedi's FPH2 for Odiwan72

Back to work after Celebration Chicago! The convention was amazing and tiring and so much fun! :D

I got the metal ears masked and primed yesterday with some self-etching primer. This afternoon I laid down the base colors. I'll let this dry overnight then start on the damage.

The left ear is finished!
With the metal ears, it's easy to lightly scrape along the edges to expose the silver. I'm including a comp shot of the lower facet to show mine with the screen used. Pretty close?

Next it's on to final weathering!

You can see your ears??? Your eyes must be on stalks like a Gungan. :p

ESB number 35 is finished! Odiwan72 will be installing a series of parts to replicate the interior of the screen used helmet, so I am not attaching the visor, the Borden, the MQ-1 board, or the RF topper.
I'll be packing the helmet up early this week for its trip to Germany.

Here's a look at the completed helmet.

Thanks for following along with this build! I'm hoping to be back soon with number 36. (y)

Super excited to receive this within the next few weeks...hope the postal carriers and/ or customs don´t damage it!

I know I should have probably posted more, but believe me...I DID follow this thread with anticipation and joy ;)

Curious to see, if I can find the time (and skills) to finish the interior of this bucket :)

Thanks a million Eric!
