I'm looking into buying a Boba Fett costume to join the 501st Legion. Is anyone familiar with Star Fortress Productions in their quality and products? I would like any helpful information before I consider any further.
Thank you very much. I currently have a Rubies Boba Fett, but I know it's not 501st approval now. I have no skills sadly or the tools in making his armor. Is there a place where I could get help in building one or buy a 501st approval one?
Spend time here. Read all the threads on how people have made their armor from trash cans, cardboard, etc. There are always people selling bits and pieces in the Cargo hold. Educate yourself for sure. If you have the patience and money you can build a 501st approved Fett in 1-2 years.
Man oh man does that bring back memories!! Not good ones mind you!
I used to deal with Ernie AKA Universal Armorer when he had an add in Starlog magazine back in the summer of '98.
I actually ordered an AT-AT driver costume for $800 and did layaway payments until I got it paid for 3 nights before Halloween of that year. I met him in Scranton PA in the parking lot of Kmart and the adjoining movie theater when I picked my suit up from him. I felt like I was doing a drug deal because it was a dark lite parking lot, no one around, and he had a serial killer looking kind of van.
I was thrown into the world of junk prop dealers that very night.

Thank you. I'll look around the forums and Cargo Hold for parts. My only experience is sewing a Kylo Ren costume together and building a Revan Reborn costume from EVA foam.
