Hey everyone! Just wanted to post up a video of my now finished ESB EE-3. Here is the link to the build thread: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/making-progress-esb-ee-3-a-49887/?highlight=bcurtis
SO glad that this is finally finished (minus a quick weathering touch-up on the Heiland and the scope). This thing is seriously heavy, lol. In my humble and completely unbiased opinion, I think it looks great! A world of thanks to RedArc for installing the functioning trigger for me, not to mention all of the help he gave in terms of photos and advice. I would not have been able to build this without your help, my friend. Also a big thanks to the makers of all the parts that went into this project.
Here are the specs:
Webley base: Hand Schaub bronze casting and wood stock
Resin parts: combination of Sidewinder and Stormrider
LED driver and soundboard: Plecter Labs Blaster Core v4.0
Replacement trigger: Apex Gun Parts
Heiland flash tube
Sling: 99centTaco (need to replace for more accurate one)
Luxeon Star Tri-Rebel LED (red, blue, green) Using the red and blue
x2 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable battery pack for 7.4V @ 2800mAh
x2 28mm premium speakers from The Custom Saber Shop
Custom bar graph from Calvary Custom Sabers (3-cyan, 2-amber, 1-red, 1-green)
2.1mm kill switch/recharge port
Internal chassis parts: The Custom Saber Shop
Soundfonts: 4 from RedArc, 1 from Plecter Labs, 1 from myself
That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure I'll tweak things here and there but I'm calling this done. The video is posted below. I'll take some stills tomorrow to highlight parts that weren't visible in the video due to poor lighting. Thanks TDH family! I'd love to get your opinions/critiques on this. Take it easy!
