Greetings Everyone!
Well after 1 year of putting this together, here is my first ROTJ SE Fett build (minus the shin tools because I still need to paint them.
Thank you to the following people....
Bobamaker = Bucket (which he painted), Jetpack and all other armor except Gaunts (painted/weathered by me) including Shin Tools and spikes. Yes, I also painted/weathered the Jetpack!
Bobamaker = Weathered Flight Suit, Flak Jacket, Gloves, and Spats.
Lucksy31 = JP Decals
Ruffkin = Gaunts
Boo Boo Fett = Awesome Ammo Belt, Chin skirt, and Divers Buckle
Woodman = Cape, Girth Belt, Braids
Hyperdyne = Helmet Servo, Voice Modulator, RF Tilt Chip
Radio Shack - Various switches and wire.
TK-409 = Chest Lights
Caboots = Boots (Weathered by me)
My sister = Gave me the airbrush to paint the Jetpack. All other armor was done with Tamiya rattle cans (except the helmet of course which was done by DAZ.)
Sidewinder = Awesome Blaster!
I had DAZ install eyelets on the flack jacket for the armor to attach and I installed 3 large eyelets behind the chest and ab pieces for wires. I also installed large brass eyelets on the back of the side pouches in order to install the voice amp, modulator board, and servo RF receiver module. I used foam to protect the electronics in the pouches and uniformly fill them out. It worked out really well, because there are only 2 wires going into the helmet; one for the servo and one for the microphone. The bucket was really tight with my large noggin. I'm still trying to figure out a cooling system for it that won't take up too much space.
This seemed like a really long year! Ok guys, tell me what you think (and yes, the thong is missing and I got a little creative with the claw marks on the left chest armor- lol)!
The first pic is of me and my son in the Imperial Guard outfit. The rest of the pics are of my suit on the mannequin.
