Hello everyone
i dont know if anyone here can help but i need help making a combine outter coat from halflife 2, the only thing i really need help with is how to make the sewing patterns if anyone could offer any help in any form then i would be forever greatfull,

making it from scratch, i just really need sewing patterns made for the outter coat i tried and failed:cry

could you post pics of your end goal? your best bet is to cut up something similar (like if you're making a trench use a thrift store duster) and modify it to fit your needs

the end product should look like the images above but the first image is a person on deviant art that managed to make some patterns and i have emailed and P.Med him sevral times and he had promised to send them but i havnt recived anything, so now i have to look into making my own. :cry

What i would do:
thrift store for 2 peices and the coat made in 2 peices. 1 undercoat and 1 outercoat. the undercoat would be standard waistcoat cut, you can mak ethis by creating a patter from an existing waistcoat or luckily finding one, the second outer coat make up for the puffy top part of the coad and would probably be best created from a puffy vest similar to the campers vests or fall vests that are out there.

The tailcoat could probably be made from a pattern at the fabric store or from a kitbashed pattern from the thrift store.
Mod vests, make tailcoat, profit.
