the real boba gauntlets don't use hinges at all... just velcro. the trouble with that is that the constant flexing results in paint chipping / cracking.

... and i noticed that i put the darts in crooked. with epoxy putty. getting those back out was special. the neat thing is that the putty i used to reinstall them is mixed with my own blood. ok, so that's actually creepy. but i cut myself and my fingers were too gross to even try to stop it.

I know, I almost completely lost my left middle finger to my reinforced Dremel cutting wheel while working on my ROTJ EE-3...
