ROTJ Fett Magic of Myth display variation?

While referencing materials in working up my Black Series Fett / ROTJ conversion , I noticed a major difference in the paint job between the Magic of Myth display and screen used versions of Fett's helm, by the appearance of a silver line painted on the upper right temple of the visor.
Can anyone clarify this?
If I've missed a thread about it somewhere, I apologize.

Probably some damage which incurred after the movie was shot. That's quite normal you can see a lot of wear on most of the exhibition pieces. This frequently makes it a bit tricky to use them as reference pictures.

I used the Heilman photos, all the ROTJ publicity images and screenshots cross referenced with the exhibits images to do the stencils.
