IMO, I don’t think so. With all the things wrong with the MOW boots, the caboots are more wrong. Based on the photos of the MOW boots you posted on the other thread, they don’t look too bad. I think they are salvageable.
Totally agree with the others, while not ideal and all things considered, the MoW Boots are (as ShortFuse put it), salvageable. I think you'll be surprised at how much a little paint, weathering and adding in toe spikes will bring them.

Yea it looks like the legs are too long and because of that the thigh and shin pockets are placed much lower.
You can see on your other suit the leg stops around the ankle and the thigh pouches are much higher closer to the crotch of the suit.
Any particular reason why you didn't like your first suit? Looks like it fit you really well, just curious!
A tailor/seamstress would be able to modify your new boba maker suit. You could have them shorten the legs and move the pockets up higher.
Just be particular explaining how it needs to be and the ankle stitching ect

Like lowberg said, I think that the legs are too long by 3-4". Luckily, both the shin tool pockets and the thigh pouches are also too low. This means that all you should have to do is alter the the groin area to bring the entirety of the legs up. If it were me, I would also tighten up the legs by turning the flightsuit inside out and sewing a new seam line 0.5" from the current seam on both sides of each leg. I would alter the groin area first though.
This situation is a little bit easier because you won't have to remove any pouches / pockets and re-attach them.

There is someone selling some Man o War boots in the cargo hold. They look like his older runs too so probably closer to what you need. Not sure if they are your size, but it would be something.

ok flightsuit is with the seamstress .... ordered velco for knees and codpiece, ordered locking nuts for armor, ordered a metal ring for my gauntless hoses - so - Im stir crazy so NEW SUBJECT
1. My regular glasses dont fit inside the helmet and I dont wear contacts. Has anyone tried wearing wrap around sports glasses like this?
2. What size gallon rolling bin do you use for FETT trooping? I know Stormtroopers use a 50 gallon. (or more) I know once you stick the jetpack and helmet plus padding It can fill up pretty fast

I use a gigantic dewalt 63 gallon but it's honestly a bit too big and cumbersome. Especially when I do conventions where I have to park a block or two away and take a walk with it. I do pack a lot of extra stuff so a 50 gallon would probably be a little better and still enough room.
The other Fett in my garrison has a case literally half the size ... he somehow fits everything except the helmet in. No idea how, it seems like magic to me, but I sure am jealous

I don't even know what size mine is, but it fits everything, minus the Helmet and Jetpack. I usually kit up at the car and rarely take it in anyways. All I need help with is putting on the Jetpack and I've yet to find one person NOT willing to help Boba out.

Looks like it fits much better! You could look into a small pocket being sewn behind the flak vest. Just make sure the stitching cannot be seen between the armor pieces. Or sewing on a small velcro patch behind the Flak Vest and sticking on some velcro to the battery box and have it held that way.
