question on gauntlets?

ok im constructing a set of gauntlets and was wondering how everybody is securing them on the unhinged side i had a few ideas but dont want to make them cheesy any help or ideas would be appreciated

Hi Fett X,
Depends what your gauntlets are made from. My set is vac' formed styrene, and to secure the 'outside' seams, I used super glue reinforced with 2 small screws/nuts (for each gaunt). For the 'inside' seams, I used the industrial strength velcro. As long as the surface is clean, and you let it set-up per the instructions, the velcro works really well.

Uh oh. I just slapped my velcro on, and went to town. I hope my gaunt don't fly off while i'm striking a pose.

Yup, superglue too! But don't use it to attach your visor.
