Pouch dimensions?

Using the reference pics, I guestimated the ammo pouches to be 4" tall x 1-7/8" wide x 1-7/8" deep. I have the side pouch dimensions written down somewhere, I just have to look for them.

"Build your own Boba Fett" and "The ultimate Boba Fett costume" sites both have ammo pouch info. Obi-Wan's Jedi accademy may also be worth a look.

OK, I made some vinyl pouches using the 3" X 2" X 1" alternative, 2 part, pattern in Obi-wan's Jedi accademy. They looked a bit small.
I played around with the sizes a bit and have now cut out my upgraded leather ones in 3 1/4" X 2 1/8" X 1 1/4". They look a little better, I have yet to stitch'glue them, but have just got a digital camera (Wooooohooooo), so I'll post my progress in a seperate post. Hard drive at home just went crunch (D'oh) so it may be a few days/weeks.
It was fairly easy to adjust the template. Print it off, then draw out your own using the same basic shape, but the new measurements. Voilá. Like with everything else doing this, if it looks proportionate on you, it's right, even if not screen accurate.

Be VERY wary of ANY dimension syou get from those sites. Much of that info is very old and MANY new ref pics have become available since then. Always verify and check for yourself. I believe you will find that the 3" height measurement is considerably too short. I am by no means stating this as definitive fact but my own research has pointed me closer to a measurement of 4.5" X 1.85" Again, these are ONLY rough estimates and I would STRONGLY encourage you to look these things up for yourself instead of taking ANYONE else's word for it. Even mine.
