Painting my ROTJ helmet

Well its hard to admit defeat but I am literally the worst painter this board has ever seen so its obvious that I can't do this by myself... what are my options?

Sand and start over. It took me a few paint jobs to get it right, now I have to do it all over again because I cracked my helmet. I thought I was the least talented here too...

wait 2 or 3 days betewen paint layers or the paint start to "crack" and bye paint, sand again, and more paint and $$$ you need :facepalm
