My workspace is on the fridge in the storage room. I put up buildingplasticcovers and hang them up when I´m painting so that the dust doesent settle everywere.

I learned the tip from TK-409 on his macro-binocular tutorial. You use the mustard to mask off areas, let it dry paint over the mustard then wash off mustard. It does react (on a chemical level) with some paints and causes a slight (very slight) discoloration.

WHEWHOO!!! My work space is about to get a major upgrade. Right now I am stuffed in my garage with 2 cars which leaves me virtually no room at all. Just yesterday I got tenative approval from the HOA to build a 10'X14'X8' shop in my back yard. While that may seem small (my backyard is only 40' X 60') it will be a huge improvement for me!!

The below statement is absolutely CORRECT, with the only difference that I used (the mustard) for the back of the helmet. It was painted already, but the back of the helmet was the same color as the dome and cheeks, but the paintjob that had (and still have) is superb. Like lordfett said, is really good and creates a chemical reaction, not sure for the texture or the color that looks like discoloration and graduates accordingly....somehow.

I was just about to look for this thread...

I'm in the process of redoing my garage. Whoever had the house before, did not put any electrical outlets near the workbench.

I plan to install a new, laminated workbench, more shelves and a paint cabinet.

I'm dropping a total of eight 110 outlets and one 220, for the stove (vacuforming). Almost done with the drywalling.

I'll put up progress pictures when I finish.

In the basement on an old kitchen table. I have to work out of one outlet right now as we are in the process of finishing the basement. That means the dremmel can't be on at the same time as the compressor and worklight. It does make me slow down - which is a good thing. I have a tendancy to try an rush things

At least I can paint on the ground without worrying about overspray

Well, no Fett here as of yet, but here is the low down on my work area.

I do nothing much at home as I live in an apartment, but I might do a little painting there everyonce in a while. I do the major amount of prop bulding and parts at work.

I am so jealous, Mirax has her own craft room. I just cant bring myself to downsize the weight room. I usually work on my Mandalorian gear at Tambo Fett's garage,(It's a huge workspace)
He has parts and greeblies for days. The A-Team could build some very cool projects in there! When possible, I bring some projects to work. The joy of owning your own business!
There are many late nights I bring some equipment home to work on, thank goodness for internet radio. I now have techno music to last me forever.
