..it's cool...glad I could help.

This brings up a few questions that we've been getting a lot of lately.
"WHY HAVE I NOT GOT A PM FROM FP REGARDING THE FPH??", or "AM I ON THE LIST?"

Seeing as how Me and Evan4218 are the ones that came up with the list, I will try to help answer these questions..(please see post #285 as well)

First, this was not meant to be a large scale run, as FP is only one person........and the slots were limited to begin with.
And based on EARLY interest, either through PM or Post, ME and EVAN4218 came up with a list of interest.
We sent out PM's to those members for the limited spots (they know who they are )...and based on the response recieved we gave them an opportunity to get one. Some backed out or never responded..and we sent a PM to the next person on the list and so forth.

I have started a "WAIT LIST"....and as members drop off we will continue this same process.
BUT JUST KNOW as FP and myself have said previously, this LIST will not be made public.

*At this point this thread is NOT an INTEREST THREAD, but more of an UPDATE THREAD for those that are vested....so the main list is "temporarily" closed.

Sorry for the confusion.......and we will let you know if you're on the wait list (just send me or Evan4218 a PM), or next in line...

I think he has awnsered and addressed all questions with about as much clarity as anyone can ask. But if something dosnt make sense you can always ask. As he said the information that is currently private will be kept that way. FP addressed this early on and then again on page 3. With this project you cant always please everyone but I believe with out a doubt those who are on the run will be VERY pleased with the end result of all this hard work!

Needless to say I am as excited about the arrival of the helmets as the rest of you. The FPH team worked hard on this project in many aspects to raise the bar on what a fan made helmet can be both in quality and accuracy. I look forward to seeing some great painted helmets after the holidays!

Hay evan, I have a question

Could you quote the post with the pics of his mold, and explain the process and what products are used?

I know that you fellas are the ultimate in making these molds. By looking at the images, I would guess...

A paint coat of XXXXXXX is painted on for the detail. A coat or two, and then a spray coat? Same mold material? Thena droop caot? spatulad to get it to like 1/4 - 3/4 inch thick? And then a mother mold of some sort?

Which products he uses, (without giving away any trade secrets of course) and the rough 'steps' would help me, personally a lot, as the next step is going to be making a mold.

Regardless, the information he, and you already share with us, saves us a lot of time, and energy and I wanted to say thanks.

Just being able to see the pics of these helmets, gives me ideas and inspiration, even if I may never hold one
