This was taken at the Phoenix Comic Con 2011 Memorial Weekend. I've made more changes by adding a cod piece and thigh armor. I also had to change my visor since I cracked my red one :cry but I am liking the mirrored one quite a bit 
Update: This is my updated beskar'gam. I've decided to pitch the loincloth, put in a bikini cod piece and add thigh plates, so hopefully I'll have pictures in the next month or two.
This is my very first kit. I wanted it ready by Halloween and am very aware that I have much to finish, but everyone at work loved it. My coworkers think I'm such a big nerd and I truly agree with them. I'm trying to have this finished by the Fiesta Bowl Parade in Phoenix, so everyone wish me luck. Still need to get a clavicle piece, girth belt, leather pouches and some fine tuning with the flight suit. I'm definitely thinking of going with a 2 piece. I'm also needing a smaller helmet since mine makes me look like a bobble head,

A big thanks goes to Solus Kyr (One End-Thomas), my twin sister-Sandra (she sewed the cape and made adjustments to the flight suit) and to Co Loar (Variant) "Allen" for all of their advice, help and much needed information And of course to my wonderful husband for supporting me and helping here and there with the hard parts. Hey, I did the bondo, sanding, painting and cutting out pretty much on my own. He helped with the snaps, cutting the thigh armor and taking off all the soft parts from the catchers gear.

The beginning stages
I drew the pattern on the mannequin torso then used a dremel tool to cut it out.

The pieces cut out and lined up to make sure it's a perfect fit. I used sand paper to smooth out the edges and used bondo to smooth out the belly plate since it had an indention near the belly button area.

Top left gauntlett. I used sports armor and basically cut out all the foam and then used bondo glass to fill in the holes and smoothed it with a dremel and then used sand paper to smooth it even more. I didn't think about taking pictures of what it looked like before I started making changes. :wacko
I used a baseball catchers shin guards for my thigh armor. I cut off the portion by the knee and then filled it with bondo glass and smoothed it with a dremel and then sand paper.
Solus Kyr (Thomas) lending a hand with the chest armor. Yeah, he's in touch with his feminine side. He's explaining how to attach the snaps to the chest armor then marking the vest. My son and I came up with painting the outer rim of the snaps with white nail polish and then eyeballing the placement and pressing them onto the vest. When we removed the chest armor, we had perfect circles where the snaps needed to go.
I used rubber cement to make a weathered look on the armor, then spray painted it black.
I decided later, that there was too much weathering so I got rid of some of it. This is a picture before I made that decision. I forgot to take pictures of it painted red. I would rub off the rubber cement then apply a fresh coat and added a coat of red paint to give it a chipped paint look.
The finished helmet. I need to change out the T-visor since there is glue on the left side. I used a lot of blue tape so I would have nice lines and again used the rubber cement for the weathered look. I didn't want to look like a shiney noob
My almost finished kit. Were in the midst of remodeling, so excuse the mess. I still need a clavicle piece, girth belt, leather pouches, gun holster and of course a new T-visor. The helmet is considerably large, so I'm going to go with a Rubies Jango Fett 1 or 2 piece. I should have read the tutorial that Falin Skirata had for sizing helmets. Hey, it's my first bucket and I'm definitely learning

Thomas warned me about the pony tail/hair sticking through the holes, so I'm fixing that and should probably have a bun or something. I'm shortening the cape about mid-thigh length. My twin made it a little on the long side. The cape looks great, though.
So let me know your thoughts and any suggestions.
