MI Mando in training

New Hunter
hey everyone, My name is Carl, I've recently undertaken the task of building my first mando costume using sintra.
my biggest inspiration was the republic Commando series as Karen traviss truly idealized the Spirit of the mandalorin Culture.( albeit no longer cannon i still think it should be considered) Jango displays alot of what i see in myself as i would be up in your face from the martial arts I learned as a kid but Boba also for that further distance advantage. My Costume at the moment is a blend of the death watch and jangos armor with a few of boba to add as extra detail. im not looking for pre-approval to the marcs at this time but maybe in the future it will happen. this is mainly for fun and to learn a new skill. so far i have the plates shaped minus the gauntlets, Kneecapps & the accessories to fit with it and the flight suit. at this moment im trying to repair the helmet due to the brim of the bucket needing some added definition if anyone has any pointers im always willing to listen thanks

20160720_044822.jpg hi. sorry for the delayed reply.....I used red Sentra 3 mm then began painting it silver with matte black. Recently i went and painted a majority of them Colonial Red but im at a standstilll with the other colors i want to use...im looking to have a custom mando but i still need to finish the vest, gauntlets,(unless i use my steel/leather ones) knee pads, and jumpsuit..i'll have more photos within a couple of hours
