Jetpack securing

How do you get the jetpack to stay on your back and not flop around while running, jumping, ect.
I also want it removable, so glue/melting the 3d print, isn't really an option. I suppose I could make it on piece, but I prefer not to.

I think if you have a proper harness with hooks up top and clips on the bottom and that harness is pretty tight, that's your best bet. Attaching it to the back plate isn't super helpful as that's not secured down below, just at the collar piece with the four studs. I didn't take sutt's response as negative, just experience speaking about the challenges of mobility with a jetpack on. The one I have on my mannequin is fiberglass and when I tried it on it was very restrictive to movement...at least without risk of damage. Good luck and I am interested in what you ultimately land on to support trying this.

Unless you make the JP out of vacuum formed pieces or foam parts, running and jumping is not recommended, 3d prints break too easily and resin/fiberglass is too heavy

Just thinking .. maybe you could somehow attach the jetpack to the backplate. It might require reinforcement of the back plate but maybe you can engineer something like that. Just a thought i had.

I came for an answer or some help not for your attitude. Since you're just sitting there being a prick about it, leave.
Who the hell is this? You come here asking for help and spout this crap. Nobody owes you anything. That includes any knowledge they may have regarding building anything.

If you get a jetpack made of fibreglass, 3D print or even resin you will find it difficult to run or jump without risking severe damage to the Jetpack, the armour under it or the vest under that.

It’s not something I think most Fett builders think about. Last thing I’d want to do is damage something I spent many ££££s on.

So, get to the drawing board and let us know what you come up with. Politeness and manners go a long way when you’re asking for help.

I was thinking just having collar support wasn't a good idea as well, I'll try and rig something up.
