Please help me identify the MOW Fett jetpack part

My recently acquired MOW Fett Jetpack has this slim disk shaped piece, which for the life of me I can't figure out exactly where it belongs. It has to be on the main rocket assembly, but does not "look right" wherever I place it.

Here's the rocket assembly; the piece in question is in the lower right corner:

Here is the piece in the upper right, with the larger connection ring below:

Here is the piece alone:

Here it is threaded immediately below the rocket/grappling hook assembly, which doesn't look correct:

Here it is threaded below the thicker connection ring, which doesn't look correct either:

Even flipping the ring over and changing its position, it just doesn't seem to "belong" anywhere. Is this thin ring/disc piece even needed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's an extra ring for the top of the collar for if you have a metal collar. If you are using the resin one you can just ignore it.
