JB Project/ FPH Helmet

Thx Alex for the link...wish I could be there in person when this all goes down :facepalm Can't wait to see the pic's from the event!! Best of luck to everyone involved

Great job for all those involved, and Best wishes on the presentation ! Is there going to be a video taken as well, or just pics ?

Well not entirely, there is still some AOSW damage, right cheek scratch for example, and the white blotch behind the left year.

Great paint job, but it's close to on screen ESB.

might want to look again on the White blotch Andy..;).....

and yes there is somethings that were already painted that I just didn't want to remove...

Incredible Alex:eek: The parts that stand out to me the most are the gradiant silvers on the dent and back right side. I need to learn the methods used for it.:cheers

Hah, I guess I never looked for that damage! With it being a random white blotch, I had always assumed it was some AOSW damage.
Yeah, way back when I thought the same thing...looks like someone just dropped, or let the helmet sit on some white paint.....I believe it was a mistake either way, cause it doesn't match anything... but it wasn't fixed, or just over looked like allot of things were.

Hi there,

Sorry if this is sort of a dumb question, I'm sorta new here. With the topical method, are you painting the weathering on with a brush, or are you masking and spraying it on?

It looks incredible, by the way!

John

Welcome aboard JBH...

Not the thread for it but Topical = brushed details & Layered = masked and airbrushed

Hope that helps...

Sorry, don't mean to bring up this old thread...was told that none of the pics worked... FIXED:thumbsup:

and I never got a chance to post the great shots Art took of the Helmet during the photo shoot.

Enjoy..and sorry so late in posting.

:)

ALL pictures are property of Art Andrews.
