Helmet build

Hey everyone! We are new here! I am looking to join the Mercs and I was told my foam helmet would not meet requirements. I was also told there was a girl who just got approved by making her helmet out of cereal box cardboard. My boyfriend and I would like to try this for our helmets, we are pretty crafty people. Are there any patterns out there that we could use for this? Here is my current foam costume(first full costume build ever)

For building material, you should use matboard that is used for picture framing - can be found at most art supply and hobby shops. You'll also need resin and bondo in order to get smooth surfaces.

I also used RafalFett's template, but modified it to a Mandalorian helmet. You can see the entire build I made completely from scratch, it's located under "Mandalorian scratch build helmet"
