FOUR slot beacons

These are looking really good! I think 2.75 inches in height is right which should include a slightly round nub at the peak which is missing on your beacon and that detail is visible from the BF cd JP closeup. The stabilizer is at 1.5 inches in comparison and has diagonal criss-cross hatch detailing around the top 1/4 inch area.

Indy,

Could you post a pic of the "nub" for me.........:confused
Or edit this pic with an arrow ?

The AOSW JP version has a different beacon than all the other versions of the JP that I have researched and it does have a slight dome on the top. If you check out my JP blueprints it shows both. But the AOSW is the only one that I have found that has that feature. Also it is completely different dimensionally. I like this version myself the dome looks a little out of place in my opinion.

Had to paint it.
I tried to get it at the same angle as the pic of the real deal.

Thanks for the info Wof. This should be called the "MoM beacon" i guess then

Have you decided on a price yet? The beacon looks awesome!!

Which size would fit an MLC2 Jet Pack? (Thats what I plan on getting when the time comes.)

Looks awesome painted! Did you sand the aluminum a little, to get the paint to stick? (Just so I know what to do, when I get this piece:))

There are probably slight differences in the overall dimensions, but I definatly notice the slots being closer together on the alternate one.

Man, that does look like the bulb sticking out. You can kinda see something behind the four slots(lower two). Might be the rest of the bulb?

How so? (i.e. without respect to the little nub)

Here is a side by side comparison of the 2 different beacons. Besides the slots being different the middle section is slightly higher, not big differences I'll admit, but when you have gone as crazy as I have with the research it becomes a "BIG difference" Sorry gone a little over the top, been a long day.

Nice research work, Alan. I'm wondering if that little nub could also be a screw of some sort. Right towards the bottom of the round nub, there seems to be a very thin break line right before it reaches the plane of the main beacon. Either beacon versions works for me. thanks.

So is Ripcode going to start an "unofficial" list to get one of these? Or, should I? I know I'd be interested in getting one.
They look great.

That's my thought as well. Definitely looks like a screw.

This "IS" the unofficial list!

Your crazy Rip
Go for it :cheers

As per WoF instructions, measure your jet pack at the "Outside of the tanks".
If it is 15 inches you will need the small one.....2 1/2 inches.
If it is larger, you will need the bigger of the two.... 2 3/4 inches.

I'm not going to be able to access the internet again untill THURSDAY.
By then I will have a COMBO price and "sold separately" price.

I measured my BM jtepack. it is 15.5" wide. His resin beacon is 2.75 tall so that is the one I want.

I want the combo package!
