TeamFett Well-Known Hunter Aug 27, 2005 #1 I painted my rangefinder, looked at it 30 min. later and thought "why isn't it drying?", then I realized it was gloss black, not flat black. Is there anyway I can get rid of the shine without sanding it down and repainting?

AFettFullofDollars Well-Known Hunter Aug 27, 2005 #2 Sure, get some testor's Dullcote and spray over it. That will knock down any shine it has.
