When my brother went to Disney World-Land two years ago (whatever the one in Florida is...) he ended up coming home with their electronic specialty Fett figure from the Disney Store. ( standard box picture. He gave me his already out of the box )
From the box pic, it's easy to tell how bad the helmet paint job is! lol
So he asked me to do up the helmet, straight ESB version.
Not doing the rest of the figure....just the helmet.
I started with just giving it a spray over with Tamiya Field Grey. (taped off the head from the rest of the body, of course ).
Then hand painted the visor mandibles and head band with Rustoleum Claret Wine I sprayed into a collector to be able to brush.
The upper cheeks I hand painted with Tamiya Green Black acrylic.
Leaving the ear pieces alone...just accenting them with damaging and weathering.
Got all the silver, gunmetal, white and light grey detailing and killstripes best I could at that small scale.
Micro brush under a magnified light lamp was the ONLY way to keep things under control that small.
Going to finish the visor last.
Not sure if painting it gloss black or try something like I did on my "SCREAMIN Vinyl Fett" kit and cut out shiny black plastic to fit.
Here's things for now though...
