I'm not giving her a hard time at all, I just know I need to run when she starts swinging handcuffs about! Besides, Adonian has a whip fetish as well, you know, I'm starting to wonder if this is a building forum I joined or an S&M party!

Anyhoo, back to the question at hand, if you glass the inside then it will become internally strong, I use FG to reinforce my resin buckets, won't stop an impact crack, but will stop it from shattering. It's not really needed on cardboard, but it's a solution if you don't want to spend forever sanding the outside.

Yes, glassing the inside is something you will want to do. It's really simple:

Yeah, I glass the dome, then the connection of dome to face, and then cheeks and anywhere where there is a 'joint' between parts.

So, I have a soccer game tomorrow and I'll be near an auto place. I'll try to grab some FG resin and mat--I want that, right? The mat stuff--and if I see some bondo-glass I might as well grab some of that too. I'm on fall break right now at school so I get a 4-day weekend: to work on my armor!!! But I gotta get some FG first.

Awesome Ord'ika! What saz said is correct; it really doesnt matter which you get, it's all preferance (whatever is cheaper. ). And do you have a resporator? if not, you need to grab one of those as well...
