Hey, I'm thinking about building a montross. I have no ref pics or art to model after. It would be a great help if any of you could send me a pic of montross. thanks.

on Lucasarts.com they got a wallpaper that is pretty big that shows him. boost the lightning and contrast a bit and you should have something to go from.

You can alos chech the SW;Bounty Hunter video game, he plays a large part in it.

He's also featured in the comic book jango Fett: Open Seasons. I know comic reference isn't the best, but it will give you a starting point and an idea of what the outfit looks like.

Montross seems like it could be quite difficult... there is a huge lack of reference photos.

There might be a lack of reference material...

But that does not mean it cannot be done. If I remember correctly, Jango Fett Open Seasons will be all you need.

I took all of my Jodo reference from one pic in the comic "Twin Engines of Destruction", so if there are at least two or three good pics of Montross from that reference....That should be sufficient.

Well that also depends on which version of Montross your doing. Are you going for the Mandalorian Montross, or the post-mandalorian Montross, SW: Bounty Hunter look?

Those are some decent pics. Are there anymore pics of his helmet? The costume in general don't look like it would be that hard. I'm gonna do the SW: Bounty Hunter version, I personnally think it looks cooler than the other. Thanks for all your help.

Well, if you have the game, there is one part that can really help you to figure out the helmet. Even though its digital, the cut scenes between the final confronatation between you and montross, it shows him putting on the helm for the first time in the game. If I recall from memory, his was green with red mandibles, but I may be wrong, could have been blue mandilbes. Also, if the Bounty Hunter version helm is the same as the open seasons helm, there is a an excellent pic of Montross's helm closeup in the sequences if him flying away, where he leaves Jaster on the battlefield. Hope those sources help.

I own the game, so I could play the final mission and see what his helmet looks like. Too bad it's not on PC, or else I'd take a screen shot.

I've played the game before but never really paid much attention then because i had no money. But now I do! I've not really seen that many montross' so I decided it would be a little more interesting to build one of those. Do you guy's think it would be worth my time?
