Buckle Clip thing

Arturo asked me to do some work on this & see what I could come up with. Hard to see all aspects & get the sizing right. This is my starting point to make refinements & looking for some input on this at this time.

What I came up with for rough sizing is 9 mm x 32 mm x 32 mm.

I found this clip a while back, but it's too small and not accurate, but it's pretty close to that clip family.

I looks like an early cobra buckle type fastener.I will ask my climbing buddies if they know.
