Boba Fett Re-Appearance Armor (heavily weathered version)

Had my very first outing on a con with this kit. Sadly, the jetpack lived only for a short amount of time. It got crashed by our car boot lid. The Mercs told me about Epoxy glue, which I will try. Hopefully, the rocket will be more stable with that stuff.

Also, I decided not to take the jetpack to London next year. Too bulky and too risky. Also, without it, I am pretty sure I will get by with cabin luggage only. So no worries about my kit flying to Singapore or Buenos Aires.

Otherwise, I had a blast. Never thought this could be so much fun. So many happy kids' faces. This was worth all the effort IMO.

I just got in my confirmation of approval with the Mandalorian Mercs.

My thanks for all the support I received on this forum. You played a big part in achieving this.

Now, it is time to bring joy to the world...as Boba Fett. What a journey! Hope to see some of you when trooping.

As the main goal for this build to have a life-sized version of this Boba Fett in my crafting room (girl cave?), I thought it would be appropriate to show the result of my paintjob of Boba's 3d-printed head:

And for a little bit of fun (I may have him actually like this from time to time):

To really finish this off, this is Mr. Fett in his full glory:

I really like how the mini diorama turned out, I tried to mimick Tython a bit. The figure is also approved with the Mandalorian Mercs as booth decoration. The upper half is well-jointed, I can make him turn and hold his arms in different positions (sadly, this is a bit limited because those hoses are REALLY stiff). I think he will look really good on events.
