The layering is much more subtle, with the misting /shading between layers etc...

I tend to agree on that. I've had a growing appreciation for the ESB helmet, but I just love the sort of "realness" to the damage on the Jedi one. I can really believe that it has suffered years of abuse

Thanks! As MF mentioned its a cast from my scratchbuilt i did a while ago, puts me in a good position for lots of painting practice and eventually work through each Fett helmet paint job for my collection...
