01Hawk WIP : Supertrooper

Back to the grappling hook. This is where it is for now. I want to try and make one that the upper piece comes off and I can put something inside to make the fins secure and functional since the one pic has them extended. Long term maybe even something to extend them electronically which would be pretty cool.

Here's the test cut, I just need the scale and they're ready to go:

I think the small ones are 13mm high 10 mm wide. The big one looks to be 22 mm wide by 25 mm high... something close to that would be great. Can you make them in gray? The color pic looks like they are gray. If not I can paint them gray.

Gray is not a problem at all.

I am liking this silver for the parts. I can't find a good shot of the rear thruster center color. In the rear color picture of the rear Jetpack they are turned up and you can see they are silver and what looks to be red. The side ones are silver and red so for consistency sake I think I will make them silver/red.

It is definitely red! They painted the same way the Pre-Pro #1/Pre-Pro #3 jetpack.

Last pic of the Jetpack till it is complete. Have to start on the left flamethrower, cast the graflex for the Uzi and box in the stock, make the upper piece for the sling gun, fix the helmet ear and range finder and make a belt for the cod piece.

I think I am going to get the correct fittings for the bottom of the pack and actually try and hook up the correct cables running thru the hoses from the gauntlets.

Thanks!! I can't wait to get the pack on ( still have to put the harness together as well. ) I think I am going to wear it this weekend without the pack again.

Its so much easier not wearing a jetpack....your ability to interact around crowds vastly improves..

Small break from building to get back at casting. As said before I want to be able to offer a kit for the Uzi and the sling gun. Casting the Graflex without taking it apart isn't working out. I don't want to ruin it taking it apart so I think am going to take one of the other Graflexes apart and machine them of metal. However the Michell pieces cast pretty well and I am happy with my mq1 casts too
